Tragic Fire at Shopping Center in Karachi: A Wake-Up Call for Safety Compliance

On Tuesday there was a major fire at a six floor shopping mall near Ayesha Manzil in Karachi’s Federal B Area which claimed five people’s lives. The fire began in commercial block that contain foam mattress shops and other business establishment which have accelerants that quickly ignited the fire. The officials said that one of the bodies was completely charred and explained that the fire could have been intense.
